Cru Ferrere represents the latest land acquisition for Ca’ del Baio , made in 2009.
The vineyard benefits from high altitude (300 to 410 m sea level), giving the vines excellent ventilation. The topsoil is white and sandy with the deeper soil of marly- calcareus.
The exposition is mainly to west.
These grapes contribute to the production of Barbaresco “Autinbej” DOCG.
